2010

Trying to sum up all of 2009 in one post would be pretty near impossible, but I'm gonna try--I would do it in pictures, but Darcy the Dell is momentarily out of commission. So, here it goes.

2009 for me has been a great experience. I've met A LOT of great people and learned a lot of great things. I learned that I can move to a place where I know absolutely no one and not be one of those girls that gets really into romance novels and drinks hot cocoa every night. I've learned how to make friends other than the ones that I have known all my life. I have learned that everyone has something interesting to teach you-- you just need to spend the time trying to figure it out. I've learned how to read on a bus and not get carsick. I've learned that people can overcome who they once were and become someone who they want to be. I've learned A LOT. I can't even put it all in words.

2009 was a great stepping stone for me. It helped me to grow and to change for the better. I'm hoping that 2010 will be even better. Some if the things that I hope to do in 2010 are:

1. Get straight A's (yay for hours and hours on the 2nd floor of the library).

2. Be able to carry a COMPLETE conversation in Spanish--no Spanglish allowed.

3. Serve a mission.

4. Read a new book every month.

5. Become a better person, daughter, sister and friend.

Also, a non-official aspiration-- I would love to not be kicked out of another foreign country...ya I'll work on that.
